Auntie Joann: So many fond memories! As a teenager hanging out with Laura at Claymoss Rd. every afternoon while you were getting ready for work at the 57... driving off in your Chrysler Córdoba. Then scrambling to make sure everything was cleaned up before your late night return! Along with my best friend in the world, Timmy, and my GHC brother,Calvin (Sumo), we are family.Peace. Darrell.
Aunti Joann, I will miss your endless hugs and kisses. You had a smile that could brighten any room. Sending my love to your family! :)

Dear Joann,
I had so much fun hanging out at your house in Brighton. You always made sure there was fresh fruit in the dining room. I remover your cooking and packing food to eat for work each night for the 57. Laura use to invite us over to eat. You were a really good cook. Laura inherited your cooking skills. Will miss you. Love Mae Mae
What a beautiful story of a very gracious woman! Timmy, Laura & Calvin you were blessed to have such a woman warrior as a role model in your lives. She always cherished her children and all their friends! She endured much in her life but achieved so much more. May she rest in peace. Much love, Debbie Yee
