Joan became family over 50+ years ago. She, Darrell, and my husband Bill worked together at Ft. Monmouth, NJ.  We moved to W.C. first and I assisted Darrell in choosing their first home in Pleasant Hill..  Joan followed with Timmy and Eileen and pregnant with Steve.  We were fast friends from the moment she walked in my door.  Will miss you  my friend but we will be together again some day

I worked with Joan for my first 7-8 years at Carollo Engineers. She taught me so much about the work, the people, and how to thrive at Carollo. We had some great times training, traveling, and presenting seminars. Her thread in my life tapestry is bright red and very wide, and she’ll always be remembered. Be at peace my friend.
