My condolences to my uncle and cousins.

I am so sorry to hear about Joan's passing. I attended Palmer School 4th grade through 7th and remember her sitting in her office by the window facing the library. She was always very kind and encouraging. I was at Palmer in the 70's and remember with kindness Mrs. Cassidy too my 5th grade teacher. Mrs. Booth was my 6th grade teacher.  Palmer school was terrific for me. Rip Joan.

I just heard of Joan’s passing & am so moved as to say “goodbye” my teacher & friend. I went to Palmer School in the ‘50’s, from the 2nd through the 7th grades. I have  wonderful memories of sitting at the dining table in the residence of Buzzy & Billy.  It was where all of us kids learned manners & how to artfully avoid eating those foods we didn’t like! Repose en paix dear Joanie.

I attended Palmer School in the 50’s - knew her parents who ran the school until Joan and Adrian took over. So sad the school closed - many memories from there.
