I was so sad to hear of Joan's passing. Although we haven't been in touch since grammar school, I have very fond memories of a childhood friendship growing up as neighbor to the Fitzsimons family. My sincerest condolences to Mary, Kathy, Ann, Maureen and Elizabeth.

I am so sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. It’s been so long since we had crossed paths, but it’s easy to remember Joan as a neighbor, schoolmate and part of the Mr. and Mrs. Fitzsimons’s family of six (6) daughters.

Mary Kathy Ann Maureen and Elizabeth, very sorry to hear about Joan.  I had the pleasure of seeing Joan occasionally over the last several years and catching up with what was going on with her and the rest of the family.
I know she will be greatly missed by all, but I know she has reached the peace she so justly deserves.

I got to know Joan over the last couple of years & she was a great friend to me. We shared a love of animals, rock n roll music, good food, & movies.Joan was funny, wry, & her facial expressions said it all! She had a wonderful life & shared stories of her travels.She loved her family most of all and talked with love about her parents and her sisters.I'll miss Joan & the laughs we shared.

Just learned of my friend's passing. Just called to wish her a happy birthday(Dec 10 2021). No answer on either phone # I had for her. So I typed her in on Google and found out. To all her family so sorry for your loss. She was such a vivacious and fun loving woman. A shame how her body turned on her. I will miss her and always remember her with a smile.
