This is for Mike- I loved your mom, didn’t really get to know her until she worked at Macy’s and she helped me so many times. She must have been a great mom and had a ton of energy to boot! Wow all the things she did! Anyway, I heard that you got married, Good for you. Thinking about you and remember our years together at San Carlos.
My deepest condolences on your loss. My dad worked at Macy's for nearly 20 years and worked for your mother. I suspect your mom was at the annual 'Founders Dinner' for the original Monterey store employees, along with Hans Lehmann, Doug Walker, and Mamie? Even I knew her from several Christmases of working the holidays at Macy*s! She was a great & kind person.
