As a childhood friend in Palmer in the 50's, Jodie and I kept in touch as teenagers and reconnected in 1968 in Anchorage when she was at FNBA. She was one of the pioneers of women in the mortgage industry in Alaska, raised a beautiful family and leaves behind a legacy of love of her friends that will never be forgotten. Our love to Jennifer and Sloan. RIP dear friend.
As Jodie's only daughter, it's difficult to capture her lifetime in a few words. She truly shaped much of who I am. Mom taught me to work hard, laugh often and LIVE. I will always remember her strength, that feisty independence, the sound of her voice & her vibrant life of work & play - ahead of her quieter final years. I miss her & will cherish our time. Rest peacefully, my sweet Momma!
