Jerry will always be remembered as the fun loving guy who lived life to his fullest.  He always gave of himself without seeking anything in return.  He was truly a great role model and will be truly missed.  Rest in peace my dear friend.

Jerry was an advocate for his students.  They loved him dearly and knew that he, in turn, cared deeply for them.  Jerry touched the lives of all who were fortunate to know him.  He will be very much missed.

Gone too soon, Jerry. The last time I saw you, on Thanksgiving, you were holding your month-old grandson so tenderly. That is how I will remember you, as an affirmation of the cycle of life. RIP.

This is heartbreaking.  My experience with Jerry was that he lived life with enthusiasm, he saw things clearly and was bound by the truth.  He always greeted me as though I was exactly the person he hoped to see that day - making people feel that welcome is quite a gift.
