I remember your nut bread which Shanti would share during late nights at the dorm—a flavor and nutrition bomb. I remember a spectacular vegetable stew, in which you had layered a whole assortment of veg and legumes and slow cooked for hours until the sweetness of them all blurred sumptuously together.
