This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jeffrey Choate, 36, born on April 9th, 1985 and passed away on January 2nd, 2022. We will remember him forever.
Jeffrey was an awesome young man with the desire to do right competing with worldly desires. He worked and tried hard at the ARC. He fought the good fight and unfortunately did not win. But he is with the Lord now and finally at peace. May God comfort you Susan.
It has been almost 1 month when my sister who was his enabler for many years called me to say that Jeff was dead. My memory at that moment was she was looking for sympathy as if she was the one who was the only one dealing with the loss. That is the sickness of a person who's focus to use Jeff against me contributed to his death.
I’ve just learned of this loss. My heart is broken to hear about Jeff passing. Jeff and I were good friends in high school, he was such a light. ALWAYS had an infectious smile! He literally beamed when he smiled. I have fond memories of going with him to his prom and dancing all night. What a terrible terrible loss. Please let me know when the service in April will be. Sending my love
My brother's first sleepover in elementary school was at Jeff's house. I still remember his dark brown hair and freckles. He was always a handsome kid.
The stigma of addiction kills. I wish Jeff was offered treatment over prison- maybe he'd still be here. I hope somewhere the kid I remember is happy and knows he is loved and missed.
