So sad to hear this news. At my first job (Western Appliance), Jeff was one of my first bosses. We shared laughs, intra-store basketball nights, and more. But on those intense crazy customer days, he had our backs. I'll never forget that first job and Jeff was a major part of that era in my life. RIP --Chris Freeman (at Western from '86 to '92).

I got to know Jeff by servicing Western Appliance ads(Mercury-News).  He was kind, polite and was so much like his father. He was fast paced, confident and easy going. When I learned the store was closing I kept on thinking something is missing and since moving out of state I lost contact with the store. Then just now I did a search and found the sad news. Prayers to his entire family.
