Jean/Granny always seemed happiest when surrounded by her three sons, the "Birckhead boys" or by any of her 7 grandchildren. I loved that she always sent wonderful packages (big boxes!) with the best presents to Camille and Maya on their birthdays, left them voicemail messages as she and Michael boisterously sang "Happy Birthday," and never forgot to send them cards for every occasion. xo
Jean was a wonderful loving, neighbor and she will be truly missed. Jean and Michael always had a kind word and shared the latest in news about our neighborhood. I appreciated her sparkling, lively nature and her gift of hospitality. I could always count on Jean to make time for me. We will miss you Jean and look forward to joining you in the heavenly after!
