I will miss her beautiful smile and of course her tasty brownies ! She was always there for anyone who needed help or who needed info on who is living where ! She used to make doilies for every new tenant when she was on the welcome committee ! I was in constant contact with her and had lunch with her in December. I will miss her ! Thanks for the laughs Jean. Bob Sully
Jean was very special to me and my husband when we lived at Long Creek Cove. She was truly part of our family. We talked on the phone at least once a month when I moved back to NJ following my husband's death. I will miss those 'talks'. I will miss Jean.
I have known an loved Jean for a very long time. Some of my most memorable moments were spent with her. Our steady visiting and communications through the years was a big part of my life. She did some much for others and for me. I will miss her greatly.
Jean was the first person we met when we moved in across the street at LCC and the last person I visited when we moved out. During a span of 14 yrs, Jean became a sudo grandmother to my son. She always had Abbie in tow and brownies to share. She was a dear soul, a "go to" expert on fixing just about everything, and loving friend. God bless you Jean. Peg and Tom Hoskins
Jean was my cousin and my mom (Patsy Rees Smith) and I got to visit with her 2 years ago. We shared stories of our research of the Rees family and she gave me her research materials for which I am thankful. Jeans was very sharp with a dry sense of humor, which I appreciated. She will be missed!
