Jay and I were good friends and classmates, graduating Northwestern in 1956. I believe we roomed together briefly and interned at the Kings County General Hospital in Brooklyn. I remember Jay as gentle, tall, of faith (Latter Day Saints), and unsure whether medicine was his first call, thinking of returning to Utah for a PhD. Few were as dear as Jay - the real McCoy. I called him 6 mos ago
Dad - I miss you so much and talking with you. Your questions and solid advice were always so helpful and helped me to wonder more about things. I can remember horseback riding and the time we rode on your bike and the purple pillow that was on the bar of the bike. Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge every day, shooting at the gun range in Cupertino, Art stores in San Francisco an Marin. Lissa
Happy Father’s Day Dad. I sure miss and love you. Love Lissa
I was looking for the poem I wrote you in a beveled gold frame but Helen said through Susan that they couldn’t find it.
