Jan and I became close friends when  our families were stationed in Bad Abling, Germany. for several years.   While our husbands worked, we enjoyed playing bridge and travelling in Europe  Back in the states, we remained friends and often enjoyed visiting and having lunch together . She was my  dear friend and i miss her.
