It was an honor to be her daughter. It was my privilege to help her through these last few months, just as she helped me through the years of my life. All that is good in me I owe to her strength, courage & love. I will miss her in so many ways, but am comforted knowing she is at last at peace. I smile when I think of her reunited with my brother Gene. All my love Mom.
Such a beautiful lady! She was like a second mom to me and was so loved by my family. It was such a blessing to have precious time with Janice to listen to her stories of her life and career. I loved to sit and listen when she shared her love of nature, music and cooking. I will miss her terribly and will never forget her lovely smile and her wicked humor.
Ms. Janice was a wonderful woman. I'll never forget going over the her house for dinner and playing in her beautiful garden. She would always bring Cj and I special treats when she visited the house, and made our Christmas Day complete. She will be missed by so many, but every flower I see I'll know she's with us. We love you Ms. Janice ?
I am very happy to call her sister. Even tho we we miles apart in distance we we always very close in our hearts and mind. She was one of the strongest, most successful and hardest working people I've ever known. I miss her dearly already. Her love of her family is unending and her passion of cooking and gardening brought her so much please. Love you Sis
Janice, you leave a legacy few will ever match. I will miss the smile that lit up your face, your wicked sense of humor, and your spitfire attitude. Every flower that blooms in the spring sun will remind me of you and will warm my heart as I know you are in a garden where weeds don't grow and squirrels can't tread. You will always be in my heart. Love you.
Janice was a very giving woman who loved to create beautiful things. She loved to talk and laugh, listen to Mozart, grow her garden, and feed the finches. We were friends for 21 years. She treated me like a daughter and was one of the southerners who taught me how to cook. Brisket. She was cultured yet streetwise. She possessed a scintillating wit and an infectious laugh. She could drop a truth-bomb that would change your perspective. Her greatest pride was her children. Rest in peace dear Janice. I love you and miss you. XOXO
