I am deeply saddened to hear of Janet’s passing. She had such a beautiful smile and a warmth and kindness about her that I will always remember. Whenever I saw her, I was struck by how much she reminded me of my mother—not only in her appearance, but in the gentle spirit she seemed to carry. That resemblance always touched my heart in a way that is difficult to put into words.

Although the years and distance kept us from knowing one another as well as I wish we had, I feel a profound sadness at her loss and regret that we never had the opportunity to become better acquainted.

My heart goes out to Janet’s family and to my cousins during this incredibly difficult time. I hope they know how fondly she was thought of and how deeply sorry I am for their loss. May Janet rest in peace, and may the love and memories she leaves behind bring comfort to all who loved her.
