Dear Family,
Janet was a classmate and friend at Piedmont Hills High School. I treasure the time I was able to spend catching up with her at our recent 45 year reunion.

Janet and I attended church at Alum Rock Methodist and graduated at Piedmont Hills in 1971 together. Two peas in a pod were her and Pat Curry. So glad to catch up at the reunion.

I am shocked.  I had just gotten Jan's email and fond memories of us venturing to what was then, Glide Memorial Methodist Church in San Francisco. It was after she had been pregnant and returned. My plans to turn into the Godless Heathen I am materialized when she handed me a crocheted scarf I wore until it fell apart. It cleared customs all over the world.

During our Freshman year in high school, Janet was the Spring Class President and I was her Vice President. We shared some of those memories together at the 35th reunion: class dances, picking bands, spirit rallies, doing some good, and etc.

I am stunned to hear about Janet's passing. She looked great at the reunion. I attended the same church that her grandmother attended. Janet will be missed. She was our second-semester Freshman class president.
