I didn’t know Janell well but I was a recipient of her generosity. As a young and inexperienced school teacher, I had little money to start a new classroom. Janell was on her way out of the profession and gifted me with 16 boxes of brand new books and teaching supplies. To this day, I use many of her books while teaching my students and each year, I gift each of my students with one of the

books she gave me, with her name “Lund” written in the cover. I hope that brings you some comfort in her being remembered. I know there’s no words that can take away your incredible grief and mourning. I will continue to pray that you are all comforted during this time of significant loss.

Janelle deserved way more than this..Janell had a lovely spirit and a silly personality. She was my friend when I needed one..  we would go out to dinner, movies and just plain hang around..  one day we went to Magic Mountain, she drove. Boy did she love to drive. Scared me..    We lost touch soon afterwards. I miss her company.
