It is with a heavy heart to hear the news about the passing of Jim Dahl, Cupertino HS, class of '70.    Jim suffered from many chronic illnesses, but never complained and greeted the world, his wife, daughters and friends with a smile and warmth despite his ongoing pain.  He was a remarkable man and I am proud to call him my best friend!  Please see "Stories" for more info, pictures, etc.

I hadn’t seen Jim probably since 2012. I met him in the mid-late 90’s at Santa Clara Gold’s Gym. We trained together from time to time…he pushed me for sure.
I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

Big Jim... sorry to hear about your untimely demise. I have a lot of great memories of you over the years. I first met you when you were one of our Assistant Coaches for the Cupertino Rattlers. Over the years my Dad and I would bump into you at Braman Pipe in Santa Clara. You were a beast back in the day. Always appreciated your tips and advice on working out. You will be missed Jim.
