Jim was an one of kind person. There are not many like him. I met Jim when I began my college years at Threshold in Sept. 2002. He was funny, kind, unselfish, a mentor, a friend to everyone who knew him. I am still in shock that he has died. He was always there for you. The world lost a wonderful man. RIP Jim
Jim, you were a wonderful, kind, compassionate, loving and patient man. The students and parents of Threshold were lucky to have you as part of our lives stories. We thank you for all you did. We will miss you!!!

Jim was one of a kind. A good pal to many of us and he always had a smile on his face. I will miss his laughter and just chatting with him on facebook. I was one of the many Threshold students and I am very glad i happened to go to Jim's retirement party, which is the last time i got to see Jim in person. RIP Jim.

Jim I will missed you so much.Your had heart has gold and a awesome guy. A minute I met you I knew you would be a great friend and mentor to all of us
When I heard of the passing of Jim I was shocked to hear the news. Jim mad me feel welcomed when I came to the Threshold Program in the fall of 1992.I will miss Jim every day because he helped me fit in to the program and he made it feel like you were a member of Threshold family . I know you are in a better place up in heaven but thank you so much for coming in to my life.
Jim was a great man. He was kindhearted and always made everyone smile even if they were having a bad day. He made all of his fellow students feel loved and cared for at the Threshold Program at Lesley University. I knew him for 19 years and went to the program from 2001-2003. He made sure to keep in touch with all of the alumni to see how they were doing in life after threshold.
I remember when I first went to the Threshold Program Jim made me feel welcome and when I was scared of being the oldest student in the program, he told me that I will be perfect for the program. I graduated in 1998. Jim thanks for all the wonderful memories you will be missed
As a neighbor of Jim's for four years, this very sad news has just caught up with us. It is no less devastating now. Jim was a kind, sensitive and life-loving man who accomplished so much good in his lifetime, and helped so many along the way. Our hearts break for his loss, and for his partner Tim whose very being was intertwined with Jim's. May his memory be a blessing to us all.
