I've known Jimmy since we were kids. From grammar school on;  summer school, Wainwright Park, weddings, births, deaths, celebrations; we always had a special friendship, He was a true friend, confidant, a joy to be around  - the real-deal Dorchester guy!  We were making plans to catch up soon and never did.  I will truly miss you, my oldest friend, I am heartbroken - I love you.  Johnny

Wow! What a shocker! Jimmy & I were childhood friends and I remember him so well as just such a good kid who only lived across the street from me and I remember always being over on his porch on Clementine park. Sadly we lost touch as young adults and unfortunately it's been many yrs since I've seen him and/or his family. I'm saddened to learn of his passing. Rest In Peace Jimmy Symes!
