James Joseph Whalen, Jr

James "Jimbo" Whalen, 53 of Allston, MA passed away unexpectedly in Tallahassee, FL on July 27th. Beloved son of the late Carol Paris and her late husband Donald Paris, Jimbo is also survived by his father James J. Whalen Sr., siblings Julie, Michelle, John and his wife Raeann, and Katelyn Whalen, as well as his 2nd mother, Barbara Nunes.

Cherished nephew to Maureen and her husband Steve Whalen, Teresa and her husband Al Randall, his late aunt Annmarie, Shirley Cassesso, her late husband Bobby, Barbara Kohl, Bruce Arenburg and his partner Rose, and Bobby Arenburg.  Loving uncle to Brady, Olivia, and Colin.

He also leaves behind his Ace Family who held a very special place in his heart.

Jimbo was a gifted mechanic, loyal son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend who loved mischief, fun, and always took care of 'his girls'. He could be heard arriving 5 minutes before he pulled up anywhere with his bumpin' music and he always showed up and helped out when needed. He will be sorely missed.

A Celebration of Life event will be held at the Elks Lodge, 326 Washington St, Brighton, MA 02135, on Sunday, August 14th 1-5pm. Everyone is invited to come share your stories about Jimbo.
