John, you will truly be missed.  What I will miss most is simply your presence  when our circle of friends would gather.  You were always there for people who asked for your help.  I know you are in a better place now, and relieved to see your courageous battle end.  Your legacy will always be there in your children.  Whenever I see any of our friends or your family, I will think of you.  

What will I do with no one to sit and talk about other people with?! You are my brother, my friend and my partner in crime! I will miss you and love you always.
