I remember Uncle Jim as the fun uncle who swung us around until we were giddy! He also saved my life when I was 2, when I jumped into a pool while the other adults were distracted by my new baby brother. I have few regrets in my life, but one is that I didn’t make the time to see him and Mary Lou, Jamie, Scott and Mike more often. I will miss his kind face and wonderful laugh.
Jim always had a smile on his face. I can see him standing behind his bar at one of their parties, making sure you had exactly what you wanted! I remember him saying that my dad told him to retire the first day he could. I’m glad he had those years to travel and spend with his family that he loved so deeply. You will be missed by all of us, Jim.
Words can never express the impressions left, the memories experienced, the everlasting impact Uncle Jim had on my life, as well as so many others, without a doubt. He was not only my favorite uncle, but one of the best, most decent human beings I've ever known. Kind, positive, quick with laughter and smile. Uncle Jim truly lived his life for his family, and will forever be in our hearts.
