I worked with Jim Springgate when he headed MEMC in Palo Alto, CA. He was the epitome of a strong, very intelligent and caring employer to look up to.  I always enjoyed his smile and casual manner when it came to interacting with his staff and employees.   Such a gentle gentleman.
