To Jimbo, wherever you are, and Mim, and Shawn, wherever you are, Matt, and other descendants:
Your Camp William Penn staff from 1968-69 still meet by phone and sometimes in person and talk about you guys. You were the glue, you built and steadied the ladder we climbed to lives that we live today.
-Bruce Davidson, Mike Flamer, Sam Dunmore, Royer Smith++
To Jim, it was a pleasure and an honor to know and work with you for 25 years. Camp Bunker Hill and many other camps would not have been successful without your help and support. You touched and improved the lives of so many children and adults. Your gentle caring manner and wonderful sense of humor were appreciated by all!
-Mike Cauley
It is hard to believe that my dear friend Jim is gone. He was one of my closest friends. We went to the same public schools together, college, and were even in the same profession. I always admired him as a natural leader, dedicated to his profession and a loyal, caring, loving friend.
As a freshman at UMass Amherst in 1958 Jim befriended me when I became a fellow Theta Chi. It has been more than half a century since I last saw Jim, but he made an indelible impression on me. He was a terrific guy respected and admired by all. I am saddened to hear of his passing.
