I'm so very sad to hear of Jim's passing. My heart goes out to his loved ones.He was my mentor and taught me everything I know about the weather.I find myself wanting to text and ask him questions almost daily.I loved his stories and his funny sense of humor. He is and will be missed by myself and all of his weather observers in Dutch Harbor.Rest in Peace dear friend until we meet again.
I will never stop missing you, Jim. You were a part of my life for many years, especially the last few. I often relied on you for critical advice and it was always forthcoming, always with an added dose of irreverence, humor, knowledge, wisdom and kindness. Still can't believe you are gone. I miss you so much, old friend. You were more a father to me than my own. Cant wait to see u again.
