I met Jacque when we were students at U of M in the early 70's.  We later worked together in Ethiopia which cemented our friendship.  She was instrumental in helping an Ethiopian friend, Hirut, get to the U.S. and supported her here until Hirut's death.  I am grateful Hirut, my husband and I saw her together in June 2018, in Alaska. She was a beautiful soul.  I am grateful that I knew her!

She did so much for me.... because of her, I could do my practicum in Denver, CO!  We had a wonderful time traveling so many places I had never been in CO, NM, WY and more.  She also paid my air ticket to visit her in Alaska.  She was so generous and kind!  I am grateful for all the memories I have!  Love you, Jacque!
