My heart is broken. We've lost one of the true good guys. I have so many fond memories of Ivan across my life - from middle school to high school & across our adult lives.  His music and his art showed his heart to the world. Rest in peace, my friend. You are gone, but never forgotten. Peace and love to Ivan's family and the many people he touched across the years.

I'll never forget hearing you at Hume blues in Melbourne and how my mate and I drove all the way to Bendigo to hear you play your fingerpicking ragtime Blues again, the best we've ever heard. We got to meet you that night. What a lovely man! Rest in peace, mate.  Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Peace and heartfelt sympathies to Ivan's family.  I'm sure you are aware of the countless children Ivan helped and mentored with his kind, genuine, caring attention - and endless patience.  My son is one of them, and we are so, so sad to hear of his passing.  He was a wonderful friend and an exceptional human being.  I will hold you in prayer.
