Skip is one of the best men I have ever known. He will be missed more than I can relate in words. I love and miss you Skipper!
Sorry to hear of Skip's passing. I knew him when I lived in Glennallen. It has been a number of years since I heard from him, I wish I kept up with him. He was a good guy and known by many. My prayers and condolences to family and friends.
I knew Skip for around 40 years. He married my best friend and soon became my good friend. We didn't always see eye to eye on things but he was always there when I needed him. He never hesitated to help anyone. He was one of the most generous people I've ever known. He really had the proverbial heart of gold. I am really going to miss him.
Skip, my Best Friend, he was like a big brother to me. he was the most intelligent , kindest hearted man i ever knew, ever!!!!! Loved kids to the end of the world. Whenever we were out some where, at a restaurant , gun show, sporting goods store, if there were kids there , he dropped , stopped everything , to go over or wave to them, he loved kids!!!! We shared the love of firearms !!
continued...he so loved his wife and son, and his grandfather and brother who pasted years ago. I am at a loss, who can take his place, NO ONE. I Loved him Dearly, and told him many , many times . You will be missed Buddy.
Skip, we’ll miss you, dear friend. We’ll miss your never-ending optimism. We’ll miss all the times you never failed to stop and say hi. All the times you shared your kindness, thoughtfulness and help.
We’ll miss your laughter. We’ll miss your heart of gold.
It has been such a blessing and honor to have known Skip.
While we can never fathom how difficult the loss of loosing him at this time must be for his spouse, Georgann, his son and all the numerous relatives and friends. We sincerely express our heartfelt condolences, and we are praying for you all during this most devastating heartbreaking time.
“Death only comes to those who leave no memories; for those whose existence was cherished, they will always be alive in the chambers of the heart”.
Skip will be carved in the deepest chambers of all our hearts.
With our most sincere and heartfelt sympathy may God bless and may the soul of Skip rest in everlasting peace.
We’ll forever miss you, Skip.

I worked with Skip at the Corps 2004-2006 and as a counterpart at another agency. Always appreciated his sense of humor despite the often high pressure demands of our jobs. He was generous with his time and always helped us through difficult projects. Georgeann's tribute revealed a lot about him I hadn't known before- such as he attended UAF, as did I! So sorry to see him go so soon.
Skip always had a smile on his face and the laughter would be heard all over the office. He was one of the first people I met when I started working at the Corps and he always had a kind word and was always willing to answer questions.
His smile will live on and I will always remember his laugh, it consumed him and enveloped those around him.
Skip was a "GREAT" guy! I will miss him! My thoughts are with his family during this period.
