Ilse was a beautiful person and an amazing neighbor. My wife Diana and I had the pleasure of being Fred and Ilse's next-door neighbor for 17 years. Ilse was the kind of person who would befriend anyone nearby, and she truly was an anchor to our cul-de-sac. She was generous with her possessions and her time. We love her, we miss her, and our neighborhood will never be the same.
