Hi Suzanne, I am writing this oh behalf of our family.  We are sorry to inform you that Ruth Grani peacefully passed away March 2016.  She was 93.  She always loved your mom and looked forward to her yearly letter and in earlier life, their visits.  Thank you and our condolences!
