This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Phil Cooper, 67, born on November 6th, 1950 and passed away on February 16th, 2018. We will remember him forever.
My deepest condolences to the entire Cooper family on Phil's passing. I have great memories of Phil...that funny little gas station he hung out at, sharing a freshman class, and so many special times in Hatteras! Phil had a kind heart and was blessed with a wonderful family. I'll cherish my memories of him and celebrate his "reunion" with his heavenly family. Rest in peace dear Phil! xoxo
Miss you brother,we had a jolly good time on those trips to Emporia. May the Lord comfort your family. G. Lee
I had the privilege of working pragmatically with Phil. When I left VA, he and I hashed out our very own version of a rent-to-own with my cottage -- in a way that worked for us both, exactly as we liked it! (We then recruited a lawyer to make it official.) I have reason to believe he enjoyed, and was proud of, his final home. He was safely and comfortably in it when he passed.
All these things going through my mind: I miss you more everyday. I wish I had answered your last call to me on Valentines Day. I got busy and it slipped my busy busy mind to call you back. Maybe I could’ve helped. Did I say “I love you” the last time we parted? I know it’s how I felt. You promised to come back. We were going to paint your kitchen. And go fishing in Hatteras.
