This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Horace Mack Gordon, 59, born on July 11th, 1958 and passed away on February 4th, 2018. We will love and remember him forever.
Even though I did not know Mr Gordon, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to his family. Acts 24 : 15, Psalms 37 : 29, Isaiah 25 verse 8 gives us more comfort for today and hope for the future. Just think how much God wants us to live forever and how much he loves us and how we will see our loved one's again.

Knew Mack since '74 when we were in high school band. He and Abby basically raised me the last two years of high school. Remember the good times on Adams and Culver. He opened us all up to a lot of great music. He loved to play out of the Real Book which we used at The Cottage. A true jazzer at heart. We love you, man...and will miss you.
To the family of Mack Gordon, I did not know you personally, but I do know your son Wesley. What a great guy, can only imagine he got those traits from you. God bless Wesley and all your family, hope you rest in peace and soar with the angels. To the Gordon family, bless you all. Sincerely, Aimee and Roy Henries
So sorry to hear about mack’s Passing. We had some great times growing up. Going to miss you brother. Love ya!! Look forward to seeing you at the big concert in heaven
So many happy memories with the Sugarbear Band. You will be missed because you added so much to so many life's. Prayers for your family and friends. Love Julie Sweat Ellis
I have known Mack since I was 15 years young. I would go to gigs with Him and Charles Reynolds. My Court Jester. He always made me laugh. My heart still hurts and the tears creep up. Sending hugs and peto Abby and their kids
Still hard to believe. Mack has been the brother I never had in blood. He introduced me to his coworkers and neighbors as his sister. My mom, Miss Jean, would have adopted him had he needed it. We've been friends for 50 years and there is no one who can replace him. I will always miss him. Prayers to Wesley and Grant and all those who knew and loved him.
Mack and I met when he came to work at Dorphil many years ago. At the time I was the travelling sales manager who would make the trek from Broward to Mack's Sarasota branch. A nicer guy would be hard to find! He made the stays in Sarasota fun and memorable. Though we both moved on to other jobs - we stayed in touch. I was sad to hear of his passing and my thoughts go out to his family.
Mack and Abby Gordon were the first friends I made (lucky me) when I moved to Macon. Mack introduced me to Jazz and many, many, great works from it. I frequented the Cottage, in Macon, and a few other venues and was lucky enough to hear him play live on many occasions. R.I.P Mackola; job well done. * pax * & amore.
