I remember Hindey as a whirlwind of kindness, determination, and joy. She and my mother led the Girl Scout troupe I shared with Hindey's brilliant daughter, Jenny. Hindey was a fount of patience and warmth, but more than that, she encouraged us to explore, to question, to challenge-- all qualities that I have carried with me throughout my life. My love to Hindey and her wonderful family.

Hindey has been a vital part of the Girl Scout community for many years, teaching girls to make lanyards at day camp and events and sharing favorite Girl Scout songs and traditions. In sharing these simple gifts, Hindey was teaching girls to believe in themselves and try new things. She will always be remembered as a true Girl Scout, embodying the Girl Scout Promise and Law everyday.

Hindey was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Her heart felt thanx willl live forever in my memory. She always had a word of encouragement for everyone. She was a great supporter of Lightly Loved Toys as well.  She was an amazing mentor to me for Girl Scouts, and an awesome human being. Goodbye my forever friend. I will miss you, but I will always smile when I think of you.

I will miss our wonderful and varied conversations at aquatics class. It was such a pleasure getting to know Hindey and sharing that time chatting and learning. She will forever be an inspiration to me to keep moving. Godspeed, Hindeynina, and my deepest sympathies to the family on their loss,

Hindey is among the most kind and beautiful people I have ever had the privilege to know. She faced many medical challenges with incredible grace. I am heart broken to never see her smile again my clinic but am confident that she is in better place where there is no pain. It has been my tremendous honor to have been one of many health professionals to help Hindey in her journey.
