RIP Mr. Yood. You were one of my favorite teachers. You’re creative writing class was where I learned how to journal. ??

Herb was a colleague who became a family friend.  He was highly intelligent, humorous and caring.  In fact, my son said that you really have to pay attention to Mr. Yood’s jokes, because they are at a high level.  Herb was a positive influence on his students and advocated tirelessly on their behalf.  He was a “good guy”.  RIP Herb.

Extremely witty, kind, warm, and empathetic ... Herb was my mentor teacher, and he was the best.  He allowed me to make mistakes and to take chances in the classroom while providing constant support and encouragement, and it was only later that I realized he was helping me beyond the profession.  I know Im just one of so many that loved and appreciated him.  He is a legend.
