Herbert didn't let his troubles turn him bitter. He had stuff c compassion for children and others who were handed the short stick in life. the love he shared with his wife Carole was such a light in his life, and for all who knew them. He was a dedicated member of high street Unitarian Universalist church, teaching adult religious education and saying daily prayers with his wife.
