My brother Herb was a best friend to me always.  He always provided an amazing family man figure that I always admired.  He was quick to show support and love to the whole family.  His home was always open to the whole family, including extended family, whenever they needed a place to stay.  Even though he was younger, he was my role model.  I loved him and I will miss him forever.

Herb was one of the sweetest men I know. He was a wonderful husband and father. He accepted all extended family showing kindness and love to all. I called Herb my brother-in-law because I have always considered Lynda to be my sister. I will miss you, Herb. Love you.

I will always remember our fishing trips as a kid as well as when I moved back to Alaska. I will never forget the time we was moving from the house on potter and I wanted to ride with you and dad to the new place and I wanted to try your chew. So there I am with chew in and sitting in the middle with no place to spit. I was so green by the time we got to the new house. Missed not forgotten
