When he lived in Albuquerque, I worked with Herb on the Planning Committee of the Progressive Democrats of America, Central New Mexico Chapter.  He was a true mensch.  He co-led the Medicare for All Task Force with an unwavering commitment to educating the public on this ever-more crucial measure.  I bless his memory for that, for his love of social justice, and for his seasoned wisdom.
