Hello Friends and Family,
This website was created in memory of my Grandma Helga. She was a special woman that touched the lives of everyone she met, and I know her passing has left a void in all of our hearts.
Not a day goes by that I don't miss her, but I find peace in the special memories of times we shared and in the photos that capture her beautiful spirit.
Please feel free to share a story, a special note, or a photo. May sharing these moments bring you peace and may memories of Helga bring a smile to your face.
On behalf of my family, we thank you for your love and support.
With love,
Monika
We will be holding a celebration of life for Helga on Saturday, June 1st at the Frau Kemmling Schoolhaus in Jacksonville, OR from 1-3 pm. Friends and family are invited to join. Questions, contact Monika 503-887-5406.

Dear Heidi, Monika and kids
Although I didn’t know Helga personally, I do know she was a wonderful woman, full of strength and goodness
I know that, because I see two very strong, compassionate women...her daughter and grand daughter
Though I couldn't understand a word, I have fond memories of sitting and listening to Helga and my mother chat in German to each other. Condolences to you all.
My deepest sympathies to all of you. Helga was very special to you, your memories of her will carry you through this difficult time .
Helga was one of my dearest friends. She was like a second mom to me. She had a heart of gold and was a friend to everyone that knew her. I will miss her dearly.
Helga was my grandmother. I was her first born grandaughter. I will forever miss her. Her strength and unconditioal love was the best example i could of ever asked for. Miss you always. Shelly
May the love and kindness from your grandma forever fill your heart. I look forward to hearing stories about Helga to help keep her memory alive.
Sometimes all it takes is seeing a few photos of someone surrounded by their loved ones to somehow just know what an amazing person they are/were. I wish I had met Helga... she was clearly a special one, to put it mildly. My most sincere condolences to all of you for your loss.
God has a way of putting people into our lives to teach us the lessons we must learn, Helga was one of those people for me. Thank you Helga for the wonderful lessons, the good times and my amazing children. So happy you are with your loved ones who crossed over before you, give Mutti, Pop and Bob a hug for me.
