Helen was like family to me. We lived close by in City View when I was growing up and my brother and sister and I played with her children almost everyday. In 2005 my mother died in April at assisted living and in May I found my father who had died in his sleep. Helen was who I called and she helped me so much. Helen loved animals and cared for her fellow man, I will remember her always.

With a smile that could light up a room and a hearty wonderful laugh, Helen was someone you could always count on. She was a dear friend, along with her family, to all of us Woffords. I’m especially grateful for how wonderful she was to my mom who faced illness and disability in her later years. A joke, a kind word, or a  favor were second nature for her. Helen was a very special person and I will miss her greatly!
