I'm truly sorry for loss.  Please take comfort in God's promise at Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Please accept my condolences to your family as you honor his life. Job 14:14 asks: "If a man dies, can he live again?" The answer is yes. The pain of loss now, will be overshadowed by the joy of seeing him again. We have this hope: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" - John 5:28, 29
