When I first met Harriot, she charmed me because she listened to what I said and had plenty to say herself. She had married Jake, and the two of them were fun to watch bantering. Over time I was also impressed with the care her family took of her. She had many losses and kept smiling all the way. But she would also not hesitate to correct impudent children. I miss her.
