This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Hugh Phillips, 81, born in 1943 and passed away in 2024. We will remember him forever.
Hugh learned and practiced tai chi with me for 7-8 years. He rarely missed a class. I can truly say that Hugh really 'got it'. He told me he brought it into his daily life to quiet his mind. It was truly an honor to know Hugh. We sometimes sat on the park bench after class to chat and enjoy the surrounding nature. He was a kind man whom I will miss dearly.
Hugh was also my tai chi student. we played qigong and tai chi together. Hugh loved tai chi and was kind, witty, intelligent and thoughtful.. His passing has touched myself and our class members deeply.
I will miss your smile, your warmth and your kind presence. Love you and sweet journey into Spirit??
