I just finished reading "No Ordinary Joe" by Larry Colton. My heart goes out to Gwen and all the loss she experienced.  Especially the loss of her son John and the circumstances of his death.  Now, I believe, people are better educated and more empathetic.  I lived in Martinez, CA from 1982 to 2014 and I'm familiar with all the areas mentioned in that part of the story.  Godspeed Gwen.
