I'm saddened to hear of Gregory's passing. I hadn't seen him around for some time, but whenever our paths crossed it was usually something that involved a lot of laughs.
God Rest His Soul.
Fair winds and following seas.
22 years old in 1968, careening thru the countryside leaving Southie (South Boston) to see what all the hubub was about in California (we stayed 6 months), driving 200 miles out of our way to visit South Boston, West Virginia only to find out that it was a DRY TOWN-what an outrage!! --we were forever joined at the hip as buddies after that trip-God Bless Your Kind Soul, Gregory..Don Phelps
Saying Good-Bye to our beloved Southie friend Gregory of forty years for me! Always the life of the party, yet kind, caring and stoic in the midst of your illness. So many great memories: St. Patrick's Day at Jane's, our wedding, christenings, concerts: honored to attend your wedding to Patricia. "May the Road Rise Up to Meet You..."
Greg was a great guy. Worked with him for many years. When ever we showed up at a job together, we would partner up. Then it would be 10 or 12 hours of laughter, however long the shift would be. Rest in peace Greg. God Bless.
