This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Grazia Macri (Cua), 102, born on December 28th, 1915 and passed away on March 9th, 2018. We will remember her forever.

Grazia Giuseppa (Cua) Macri was born in Careri in the Province of Reggio Calabria, Italy to Antonio Cua and Angela Strangio.  She was the youngest child of five children having had two brothers and two sisters.  IN June 19356 she married Vincenzo Macri and together they had four sons and a daughter.  In 1967 she, along with her husband and sons: Francesco, Antonio, Giuseppe, Domenico and daughter Theresa Muscianisi, moved to San Jose, California where she lived for almost 50 years. Grazia enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She had a wonderful sense of humor and never failed to put a smile on everyone's face. 

She is survived by Francesco Macri, Antonio and Teresa Macri, Giuseppe Macri, Domenico and Giuseppina Macri, and Theresa and Domenico Muscianisi.  She is also survivied by her eleven grandchildren: Jimmy Macri, Frank Macri, Enzo Macri, Pat Macri, Marina Versaci, Lidia Macri, Daniela Macri, Vincenzo Macri, Raffaele Macri, Antonio Muscianisi, and Melissa Muscianisi along with 17 great-grandchildren.   

She is precedeed in death by her husband, Vincenzo Macri, daughter-in-laws Elvira Macri and Concetina Macri, and grandchildren; Pinuccio Macri, Susanna Macri and Lilliana Macri.

"Nonna" touched so many peoples lives and will be greatly missed.
