Suanne, I had the opportunity of serving with Grant on the Coral Sea.  We spent many a boring and then exciting hour on watch operating the ship in the Gulf of Tokin. My job took me back to the East and fortunately I had trips to San Francisco.  We would get together occasionally to visit.and relive our youth I will miss him and his positive outlook.  Ron Lamanna
