Shocked to hear about the sudden death of Mr Vakil. May his soul rest in peace and may God give strength to Usha and family to bear this loss. Parties at Vaidya’s house were so refreshing by your presence.

Govind was a wonderful human with love for life. He loved excellence in his field and enjoyed challenging options in renovating old historic buildings. He talked about renovating his ancestral home in Chamba, HP.
Gardening and reading were his favorite pastimes.
He will be missed dearly and heartfelt condolences to Usha

Terry and I visited Hingham briefly last summer and were stunned to see the lovely memorial stone for Govind at the harbor. We didn't realize he was gone. Govind and Usha were our next door neighbors for decades, till we moved away in 2019. Usha our thoughts are with you. Thank you for being the best of neighbors.
