To the Challoner Family,
It was with a heavy heart I learned of Gladys' passing this morning.  I have never known a classier lady than Mrs. Challoner, or a classier family than your's.  Tom, I'll always cherish your invitation to me to join you at the Jefferson Hotel for your anniversary dinner.  You and Gladys were great examples to me in so many ways.
